I thought the whole back side was a magnet instead a 3 square magnets glued on the back. So I expected a little higher quality.

We used to cut magnet backing into the same shape but we learned that it's not safe to cut magnetic backing on our laser. Until we can source a magnetic backing free of any chlorine we are going to opt for the safer and stronger magnets.
