Relic’s Coastal Collaborative is a community-driven initiative dedicated to reducing coastal pollution. By providing beachgoers with 100% recycled plastic baskets, we empower individuals to take an active role in keeping our beaches free of debris.

This program thrives thanks to the support of local businesses, whose sponsorship enables us to expand our reach and provide the resources needed to sustain these efforts. Partnering with municipal governments, motivated community members, and our incredible sponsors, we’re building a unified effort to preserve and protect our coastlines for future generations.

Slow Food East End is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting good, clean, and fair food for all. Through community-driven initiatives, Slow Food supports sustainable agriculture, food education, and environmental stewardship.

Starting in June 2023, Slow Food committed to the health of our coastlines by sponsoring a beach cleanup station at 67 Steps Beach in Southold. As a sponsor, their support contributes to the maintenance required to keep the station available for community use 365 days a year.

In addition to supporting Relic’s Coastal Collaborative Program on the North Fork, Slow Food East End champions sustainability through hands-on community initiatives. Their School Garden Program introduces thousands of children to real food, with fresh produce now served in 30 East End schools. The Snail of Approval highlights restaurants, farms, and producers committed to ethical sourcing and environmental impact, while Flour Power provides homemade bread to local food pantries. Through the Resilience Grant Program, Slow Food supports local growers and makers facing economic challenges, reinforcing their mission for a just, sustainable food system.
